Refund Policy

Overview
Catsy uses a credit-based pricing model. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for our subscription plans and credit purchases.
Subscription Plans
- Free tier: No payment required. Includes a limited number of credits that refresh periodically.
- Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Each plan includes a set number of credits per billing period.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your plan's features and remaining credits until the end of your current billing period.
Credit Refunds
- Used credits are non-refundable. Once credits have been consumed to generate or edit content, they cannot be refunded.
- Unused subscription credits: If you cancel your subscription within 7 days of purchase and have not used more than 10% of the included credits, you may request a full refund.
- Failed generations: If a generation fails due to a platform error (not a content policy violation), the credits for that generation will be automatically refunded to your account.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at support@catsy.ai with:
- Your account email address
- The date of purchase
- The reason for the refund request
We aim to process all refund requests within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method via Stripe.
Exceptions
- Refunds will not be issued for accounts terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service or Content Policy.
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support team may result in account suspension.
- Promotional credits, bonus credits, or free trial credits are not eligible for refund or cash value.
Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund within the first 14 days of purchase, provided that no more than 10% of the included credits have been used. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled to prevent renewal.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Existing purchases are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
